Nice choices! I feel there is a lot here I should check out. And I totally respect you putting Fun Tunnel on there!

      • 5 dreamer 07/11/2010 at 6:51 AM

        Thanks!

Fun Tunnel’s just absolutely crazy! It’s not a masterpiece, obviously, but it’s just so different and extreme I can’t resist.

To tell you something about the artists:

David Maranha – Portuguese Drone/Ambient artist with years of experience and international fame.
Discotexas – Portuguese Dub Disco music, with bits of House, probably not your style, I don’t know ^^
Kouhei Matsunaga – Crazy producer that goes from Noise to Hip-hop.
Mark McGuire – You probably know him as the guitarist of Emeralds, but his solo works are really, really good.
        Reference – Deep House.
Sujo – A really underground Noise artist.
        Vitrazh – More nice Noise.
Yoyoyo Acapulco – Ukulele pop from Norway, sounds absolutely sweet, you should check it out if you don’t know it yet.

It is nuts. Mark McGuire’s stuff is really really good. I posted his stuff under the name People’s Parties a while back.

and I checked out Sun Araw, and I’m already extremely impressed.

I thought you knew Sun Araw, he has also other nice bands like Magic Lantern (really fuzzy Psychedelic Rock) and recently Pocahaunted.

Besides the names on the list, I must say I like a lot of things you posted here, stuff like Dum Dum Girls, Beach Fossils and Holy Fuck. Holy Fuck are really good.

Keep up the good work here in the blog and good luck with your DJ act as DJ Fuzzy 😉

Well I know both Magic Lantern and Pocahaunted, and I like them both!

And thanks a bunch! I don’t think my DJ career is gonna go very far though!
